In the mood for love?

Well we are racing towards Valentines day, So I thought I'd share a few love themed cards this week.  This first one looks more complicated than it is.  It's one of the stamps from the Level 1 hostess set A little bit of Happiness.  It's a wonderful stamp set and exclusive to our hostesses.

I have repeatedly stamped in Black Stazon ink onto Whisper White cardstock moving the stamp along to form a patchwork effect.  I then cut the cardstock down to mat onto a standard size card blank in Pink Passion.  I have been using my blender pens much more lately and I have coloured in the hearts with 3 different pink inks, Pink Passion, Pretty in Pink and Pixie Pink.  To use the blender pens, just squeeze the ink pad lid onto the pad and this will give you a pool of colour in the lid.  Pick up that colour with the tip of the blender pen and start colouring.  A sentiment finishes the card from Seasonal Wishes.

Happy Stampin'
